10 Michel Jackson Royal Achievements

Who could forget the King of Pop music? Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958. He was the eighth of ten children in a working-class African-American family living in a two-bedroom house, on Jackson Street in Gary, Indiana, an industrial city and a part of the Chicago metropolitan area.

Michael Jackson found fame with the Jackson 5 before becoming a hugely successful solo artist, with his hits earning him the title King of Pop. He became increasingly eccentric and his physical appearance changed drastically. He died from a heart attack in 2009.

With more than 75 million albums sold in the United States, Jackson ranks No. 7 on the RIAA’s list of top-selling artists of all time. As we approach the seven-year anniversary of his death, we look back on 10 royal achievements that made Jackson the King of Pop.
