We all keep a box of baking soda at home but not all of us know that you have the most versatile and effective tool in your household arsenal. It’s a powerhouse of a product. It’s most often used in cooking, and it’s primarily used in baking as a leavening agent. However, remember not to use Sodium bicarbonate to often, since the excessive use might cause serious electrolyte and acid/base imbalances.

For healthy teeth and gums, just mix 6 parts of baking soda with 1 part of sea salt and this will be an effective tooth and gum paste. The next step will be to blend them and apply the paste on your teeth and gums and leave it for 15 minutes. 9. Splinter removal

You know how annoying having a splinter can be. Well not anymore. Just put a mixture of baking soda an water twice a day to the affected area, and next thing you know – splinter  gone.

If you love drinking coffee and tea on daily bases, they will most certainly leave yellow stains on your teeth. Instead of paying overprices teeth whitening treatments at your dentist add a little baking soda to a crushed ripe strawberry, and spread the paste onto the teeth.  Brush them after 5 minutes and they will be white and shiny.

Just sprinkle some soda down the drain, pour some apple cider vinegar, and after 15 minutes, rinse with hot water. The mixture of baking soda and water can be used to clean your baby’s toys, you can use it as a fabric softener, and as a whitening agent, and clean your pots and pans. It’s basically incredible.
