13 Beauty Treatments You Can Make Yourself

Not all of us are the super-succesful DIY queens, but we can try. We have Pinterest boards full of cuteness, for the home and for  clothes, and love trying out the crafts…to different degrees of success.

However, we do need to try harder when it comes to DIY beauty treatments. Why? Because who wants to spend all that money on expensive spa treatments, when you can make one at home with the same products they use over there. You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to look good. You just need to read what we prepared for you.

1. Soothing Honey Mask

Don’t you just love a good relaxation before bed time? There’s a way. Just mix two tablespoons of honey, one teaspoon cinnamon, and the juice of one lemon wedge. These ingredients work well to minimize redness and dark spots. Warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds and apply on your face. After you’ve left it on for 15 minutes, rinse off with warm water and enjoy your slumber.

4. Egg Hair Mask

For dry, frizzy, or damaged hair, make a deep conditioning mask with one full egg, a little honey and two tablespoons of castor oil. It should be applied to dry hair and left on for about 30 minutes, then rinsed with cool water. Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner after and make sure not to use warm or hot water while you have the egg in your hair!
