Most of us can see fashion mistakes when they are on others. Does this mean that we can detect our own fashion blunders? Not likely, unless we have taken the time to learn the rules of dressing.
There are plenty of so-called fashion mistakes we’re all familiar with and know to avoid, like wearing a brown belt with black shoes, wearing socks under your sandals, and so forth. But there also exists a number of anything-but-obvious errors, many subtle ways to disrupt an otherwise stellar outfit.
As women of style, it’s extremely important to be on the lookout for these under-the-radar mistakes, so you can nip them in the bud before they get out of hand. Below, find some common, easily overlooked mistakes we’ve all made and should try to avoid in the future, for the sake of fashion everywhere.

3. Cuff Correctly
If you are wearing ankle booties, cuff your jeans and your legs will look longer!
4. Tall Boot Trick

5. Stop The Shed
Does your favorite fuzzy sweater shed to the point of no return? The night before you want to wear your sweater, put it in a Ziploc bag and toss it in the freezer overnight. This will encourage fibers to lock together, which will eliminate shedding!
