6 Celebs Who Don’t Care For Their Stretch Marks And Cellulite

Be true to yourself and admit it – at least once in your life you’ve stared at the mirror, wishing those stretch marks and cellulite would simply disappear. Well, most of us have, anyways.

We may want to believe that it’s not true, but the reality of life is that almost everyone of us has some of these so-called flaws. Fashion models, film stars, celebrities of every kind, even those we deem to be perfect. Newsflash – they aren’t. Some hide the cellulite and stretch marks, but more and more people start to accept them. This in turn aids in the introduction of a healthy discussion about the body as the natural phenomenon that it is. Here are some celebs we can call pioneers in acceptance:

1. Kelly Clarkson

“It’s horrible, they’ll show celebrities with cellulite and it’s like, ‘Of course celebrities have cellulite! We’re not fem-bots!'” she said.

Well said, Kelly! Hats down, all.

“I workout. I do my best to eat well. I love the skin I’m in. And I’m not ashamed of a few lumps, bumps or cellulite… and you shouldn’t be either,” she said on the subject of accepting our bodies as they are.

She tells is straight! What a positive attitude from a true guiding star for body acceptance!

4. Kim Kardashian

“I have cellulite. So what! I’ve never claimed to be perfect. It’s crazy anyone should assume that just because you’re in the spotlight, you’re flawless,” she said, adding that it is worth the cookies and ice cream. The truth here is self-evident, we could add.

5. Lena Dunham

“Well, today this body is on the cover of a magazine that millions of women will read, without Photoshop, my thigh on full imperfect display,” said  Dunham commenting on her Glamour cover, showing her thighs – definitely not ‘shopped’.

“We all have cellulite. So do supermodels! I’ve been to the shows, and I go, ‘Stick figure has some cellulite!’ It’s nature. Without it, you’re not human,” she commented.

Sandra, despite always looking  wonderful, is so down to earth and realistic?

9. Kate Winslet

“I look like the people that walk down the street. I don’t have perfect boobs, I don’t have zero cellulite — of course I don’t — and I’m curvy. If that is something that makes women feel empowered in any way, that’s great,” she commented in regard of her body.

Imagine that – Kate has cellulite and is not embarrassed? Why should she be – is the real question.

12. Blake Lively

“I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I’d rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South,” she stated.

We agree. There is no such thing as perfect, so why stay away from grandma’s cookies? Not in this life, cellulite or no.

13. Amber Rose

“People have to realize that the supermodels we see represent five percent or three percent of women in the world. It’s not realistic. It’s very realistic to have cellulite and saggy boobs — it’s part of just being a human,” she puts it so perfectly and honestly.

It should go without saying, but we’ll say it loud anyway: Women should never apologize for their bodies or for not being perfect, no matter what.
