We spend a lot of money on things that we need. We do that because we don’t know that something we already have at home can be used for a different purpose. Most of us have a tube of MuscleGel at home, and we use it only when we have a bad shoulder or a sore knee. you’ve probably never used a whole tube and trashed it almost half full. But would you do this if you knew that you could use it for something else? The same goes for shaving cream and toilet bowl cleaner. These products can be pretty pricey but check out how you can easily substitute them with stuff you probably already have in the house.
Don’t struggle anymore with knots in shoelaces, thread or necklace chains. Instead of getting frustrated, rub some cornstarch on it. This will be your new magic powder to untangle whatever it is you’re trying to untangle.
Apply some petroleum jelly or Vaseline to your feet. It will prevent the heels you are wearing from giving you blisters.
Try using hair conditioner when you run out of shaving cream. It’s a perfect alternative.
If loose buttons are a problem, apply some clear nail polish over the middle of the thread. Remember this advice and you’ll never have to deal with a lost button again.
Be real and admit that no one is good at self-tanning. If you’ve got a streaking problem, don’t panic. A bit of toner can’t fix it.
If you are preparing for a big toilet clean and you are missing the essentials, try dissolving two antacid tablets and then giving the bowl a good scrub.
