1. Use an eyebrow pencil to make your brow shape by lining the underside of your brow. This way you will create a sharper and the most natural-looking brow shape since you can blend it in more seamlessly, Chinchilla says. Just don’t forget to begin at the outer corner of your brow and work inward. this way your arch is darker on the outer side and lighter as you move in toward your nose.

2. Fill in your brow with quick strokes, use an angled brush dipped in brow powder. This way you will create hair-like strokes. It’s best if you begin at the outer corner of your brow and work your way inward to fill them in flawlessly.

Contouring

“Not everyone needs a full contouring map to sculpt their face,” Chinchilla says. “You only really need to apply bronzer along the perimeter of the forehead if you want to create the illusion of a smaller one — same goes with swiping matte bronzer down the sides of your nose to make it appear thinner, as well as applying a darker powder along your jawline to give it definition. But not everyone needs all of these techniques; however, everyone can benefit from chiseling their cheeks a bit, which happens to be the fastest way to contour anyway.”

Chinchilla’s foolproof technique: Suck in your cheeks and use a small fluffy brush, like MAC Cosmetics Small Contour Brush #109, and a matte bronzer (skip shimmer with contouring to make it look natural) that’s one or two shades darker than your skin tone, like Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Bronzer. Then, starting right at your temples, use light sweeping motions to bring the color down toward the corner of your mouth. That way, you blend the powder at the same time and don’t end up with a harsh straight line of bronzer, which is a telltale sign you’re wearing it.
