“Well, even if I do lose weight, it will only be my upper body, my thighs will still remain fat.”
Just how many times have you heard this conversation, or had it yourself? Do you ever wonder why fat is deposited on only one part of your body? Scientists say that it’s because of certain habits we have.
1. Upper body
Adipose tissue is stored mostly on the shoulders, chest, abdomen, back and arms up to the elbows.
This is because of bad nutrition and lack of exercise.
If you get 500 to 1000 calories less per day and exercise 5 times a week for 30 to 60 minutes, you might solve this problem. Try brisk walking or cycling.
2. Above navel and upper back
Fat deposits above the navel, mean your stressed – the stress hormone cortisol is to blame for this.
Reduce your weight through a healthy diet rich in fibers, vitamins and minerals. Exercises that reduce stress are yoga and pilates. Also, make sure that excessive amounts of alcohol are not the reason for your belly fat.
3. The entire back
This means that you are not sufficiently physically active and have improper diet or that you often overeat or skip meals.
Try changing your habits to 5 small meals a day, walking, swimming and activating the back muscles.
4. The lower abdomen, thighs and buttocks
Fat in these areas means you lack physical activity. Focus on lower body exercises like cycling and circular training. And use natural masks and compresses if you’re prone to cellulite.
5. The belly, buttocks and legs
Adipose tissue builds up in these parts usually as a consequence of pregnancy.
To solve this problem follow the same tips mentioned in number 4, that is a greater physical activity which activates the critical parts and use natural products that melt the deposits.
