Admit that you fell in love with the flawless Duchess of Cambridge from the moment she appeared on TV. Yeah, her smile is magical, but so is her body figure, right? How does she manage to have such a slim figure?
Catherine (Kate) Middleton, 35, is the wife of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. Being a member of the royal family is far from easy. The mother-of-two has shown to be excellent at keeping healthy and slim throughout her pregnancies and shortly after giving birth. The Royal mom has many secrets about her diet, but some of them are out in the light.
1. Her secret is what most people would expect – a strict diet.
But that does not mean she isn’t enjoying it. This is what Kate did to look perfect for her wedding day. She was rumored to have used the Dukan Diet. It is a high-protein and low-carb diet that many celebrities tried, including Jenifer Lopez and Gisele Bundchen. They used it to drop the baby weight. The key to this diet is consuming lean proteins, vegetables, fruit, and whole wheat bread. Kate’s mother, who is also a fan of diets herself, is believed to curb cravings with prawns and cottage cheese.
2. The Duchess loves family recipes.
She seems to love DIY surprises, and for her first Christmas spent at Sandringham, she came up with a clever gift for Queen Elizabeth. Kate whipped up a batch of her own granny’s chutney and it was set on the table, despite her insecurity about it.
3. She swears by raw food.
Maintaining a size-six figure is not easy. She’s known for dabbling in raw food, which may be the result of her glowing skin, healthy hair, and strong nails. Her basic go-tos are ceviche, goji berries, gazpacho, watermelon salad, almond milk and tabbouleh.
4. She loves holiday treats.
When spending Christmas with the Queen, they are greeted with all sorts of treats. A hardy breakfast, followed by a lunch of salad with shrimp or lobster, and roasted turkey among the few of the 15-20 items on the buffet.
5. She worked to battle food aversion.
Kate had severe morning sickness when she was pregnant with Prince George and had to undergo food hypnotherapy to increase her appetite. She was on a diet of avocados, berries, and oatmeal.
6. She’s an adventurous eater.
Eating in public is not an issue for Kate. She tried some of the amazing food served on the Canadian royal tour.
7. She saves room for dessert.
Traditional confections such as jam roly-poly or sticky pudding are her favorites. At Christmas time, the family enjoys Christmas pudding and fruitcake with their afternoon tea, but Kate loves to eat cake on other occasions, too.
