How Do celeb couples fall in love?

We think that it’s difficult to find love for ourselves, so you can imagine how tough it must be for actors.

I mean, they’re always on the run, shooting, appearing at events, some of them running their own businesses. They don’t have a lot of time to meet people, and if they do, it’s usually on set.

And actually, it’s much easier for them to fall for someone during filming, rather than off the silver screen.

Here are 8 movie/TV show couples that also dated/still are dating in real life.

1. Kit Harington and Rose Leslie (Jon Snow and Ygritte in Game of Thrones)

These two starred with each other from 2012 to 2014 in the megahit TV series Game of Thrones.

Ever since they met on set in 2012, they have been dating. To the present.

Jon Snow may know nothing, but at least he knows how to pick his women.

Speaking last year about meeting Rose in Iceland, Kit said: “The country is beautiful, the Northern Lights are magical, and it was there that I fell in love.

“If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”

2. Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson (Joey and Pacey in Dawson’s Creek)

These two starred with each other from 1998 to 2003, and they dated from 1998 to 2000.

I would include my (frankly terrible) sense of humor, but I know nothing about this show, so I’ll spare you from it. Thank me later.

She said at the time: “I’m just going to say that I met somebody last year. I fell in love. I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable.”

3. Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson (Seth and Summer in The OC)

These two starred with each other from 2003 to 2007, and dated from 2003 to 2006.

They managed to stay in a relationship for almost half a season, but sadly they broke up after three years together.

They’ve both since found love, but when Adam was asked what it was like to kiss Rachel in a Reddit Q&A, he said: “One of the all-time greats!”

4. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer (Sookie and Bill in True Blood)

Now we are taking things to the next level. These two starred together from 2008 to 2014, but the chemistry was so good, that they actually started dating a year before the show started airing, and in 2010, they got married.

Now, they have two kids, twins Charles and Poppy.

Speaking in 2015 about falling in love with Paquin, Moyer said: “We met screen testing for the show. We were both single at the time, and there was just this kind of spark. I didn’t see her for three months, and she had gone from having dark hair to this beautiful blonde, and I had gone from being blonde to this dark vampire.

“By day three or four – oh, this is going to sound so syrupy – but I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. It was within seconds, really, and it just became a thing.”

5. Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki (Penny and Leonard in The Big Bang Theory)

Well, turns out spraying the deodorizer when love is in the air didn’t work. At least for these two.

They starred in the Big Bang Theory from 2007 to the present, but they dated from 2007 to 2009.

They dated for roughly two years before they ended their relationship. Their characters on the show have gotten married, and fortunately, they don’t hate each other in real life. They’re just close friends now.

Speaking about the relationship for the first time in 2010, Cuoco revealed: “It was a wonderful relationship but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together. We were so protective of ourselves and the show and didn’t want anything to ruin that. But that also made it sad, too.

“That’s not the kind of relationship I want – I don’t want to be hiding. We couldn’t do anything. It wasn’t as fun as we wanted it to be. Everyone was always asking, and we deny-deny-denied. And I’m like, ‘Why am I denying this person that I love?’

“It took a little bit of a toll on me and I think it did for him, too… We knew how to keep it deep inside and never bring it on that set, ever.

“We broke up before the holidays and worked that whole time. We dodged a huge bullet. Dodged a war. But when you’re dealing with two professionals who have been working since they were both 4 – and who kept their lives extremely private – we didn’t want anything other than that.

“I’m so lucky it was a mutual ending and that we don’t hate each other. We’ve seen that happen on other shows.”

6. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev (Damon and Elena in The Vampire Diaries)

These two starred in the teen favorite The Vampire Diaries, from 2009 to 2015.

They actually dated for three years, from 2010 to 2013.

Nina stayed on the show for two more years after her relationship with Ian ended, and she admitted before then that she didn’t expect any romance with her co-star.

She told Seventeen in 2012: “Sometimes you can’t help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long. I didn’t want to be dating one of my co-stars – my goal on the show was to be professional.”

Even though a lot of rumors say that their breakup wasn’t the nicest, Nina told Entertainment Weekly that she still fondly thinks of Ian.

She said: “I’ve said this before, that we didn’t break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn’t love or friendship. I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he’s great and I care about him. And that didn’t change.

“Yes, we’re professional and that’s fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now.”

7. Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia (Rory and Jess in Gilmore Girls)

They starred in the show from 2001 to 2006, but they started dating a year after the show started airing, all the way to the end of the show.

She said back in 2005: “I think everybody who has been dating for more than a couple of years probably talks about it at some point. It’s a fun thing for us to talk about, but that’s it.”

She has since got married to actor Vincent Kartheiser, who had a brief fling with Alexis’s character Beth Dawes in 2012. They had their first child together in 2015.

8. Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer (Cameron and Chase in House)

They starred with each other from 2004 to 2010, and dated from 2004 to 2007.

Although Jesse proposed to Jennifer at the Eiffel Tower during their Christmas holiday, they called it off the following year.

But they still kept dating and got married in the 2009 finale, which ultimately led to them having to film an entire wedding for the nupitals that they never had.

Jesse has since moved on and is currently dating pro-surfer Maya Gabeira, while Jennifer dated Prison Break star Amaury Nolasco for a few years and has been with her former Once Upon a Time co-star Sebastian Stan since 2012.
