Thanksgiving is all about sharing and giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. On this day people share their food with their families and strangers. The “Holiday Season” begins with Thanksgiving and therefore people promote kindness.
We have seen many movies where some unusual events lead to strangers being invited for Thanksgiving dinner. But this one is for real. A teenager from Phoenix, Arizona received a group text message saying that Thanksgiving dinner would be served at 3 p.m. When he asked who the message was from, the sender replied, “Your grandma.”
Believing that this “accidental text” is coming from his grandma, he asked her for a photo. But the woman from the picture was not his grandma. She was Wanda Delch from Mesa, Arizona.
