Percy Jackson star Alexandra Daddario is set to appear as one of the main protagonists, Roberta “Summer” Queen, in the big screen remake of legendary television show Baywatch. The movie is will hit cinemas in May 2017 and now you can have a little taste of what’s to come as the cast jetted off to Mexico for a special Baywatch-themed photoshoot for GQ magazine.
The film adaptation is going to star Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Priyanka Chopra, Jon Bass, Ilfenesh Hadera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.
Daddario is going to play Roberta “Summer” Queen. She was portrayed by Nicole Eggert in the original series.
Although the show was an action-drama, the film is set to be an action comedy written and directed by The Hangover scriptwriter Jeremy Garelick.

Anderson and Hasselhoff are the two actors most commonly associated with Baywatch and both will make an appearance in the film.
