I think you all know that actors pledge at least some of the big dollars they earn to charity, to help those who are suffering around the world.
Angelina Jolie, however, has decided to be extra generous. She has decided to donate her entire Mon Guerlain salary to charity.
Whose the lucky charity?
The 41-year-old ‘Tomb Raider’ star hasn’t yet disclosed which charity will be lucky enough to receive the funds from the fragrance campaign. Most guesses are falling on the UN Refugee Agency, or the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative. The first one seems more likely as she’s a Special Envoy of that agency.
Jacques Guerlain said: “We create perfumes for the women we admire.”
Adding that the scent is, “notes of a woman”.
This is the famous actress’ first big gig since divorcing from Brad Pitt.
Angelina Jolie has been talking about teaming up with the brand since 2015. At that time she was out in Cambodia shooting and directing “First They Killed My Father”.
Jolie’s late mother was always a big fan of the brand’s face powders, so the collaboration was only bound to happen.
Brad has also been showing his philanthropist side lately too as on January 17, he made an appearance at a charity concert amidst his ongoing custody battle with Angelina.
The 53-year-old had been laying low since the divorce, but he still stepped out at the Rock4EB! concert in Malibu, to raise money for the EBMRF. (Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation)
He was joined by Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, along with Sting, Courtney Cox and Zach Galifianakis.
A source previously shared: “There’s so much love for Brad in Hollywood and she feels like there’s none for her.
“They sorted out their statement within hours of his Golden Globes appearance. She realized the impact their separation has had on her image and is desperate to try to ensure no further damage is done.”
