Angelina Jolie Or A Silver Mermaid? The Star Shined At The 45th Annie Awards

Angelina Jolie seems to be everywhere lately. Like just last week she met with Jens Stoltenberg, the top guy in NATO and its Secretary-General. But the Maleficent star made it to the Annie Awards on Saturday, too, and oh boy did she give all those animators some inspiration!

Now 42, Angelina Jolie looked stunning in a new silky, silvery gown at the Annie Awards which took place at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles.

The dress featured an interweaving sleeveless top, but also a tantalizing thigh-high split that would flash the actress’ toned legs on occasion. But the gown pulled off a plot-twist too – it even had pockets!

Needless to say, she was in every photographer’s center of attention.

Thanks to The Daily Mail, you can see Angelina in motion below:

Notice the pockets? Well, NOW you do! They were practically invisible before the star used them.

The thigh-high slip gave Angie ample opportunity to flash her toned legs.

The brilliant crimson lipstick went well with the smokey eyes, making the mother of six look fresh.

Angelina Jolie

Jolie was pretty animated at the animation awards.

She was soon joined by two of her children for some snaps, 11-year-old daughter Shiloh, and 13-year-old daughter Zahara.

Shiloh kept things classic in a black suit, while Zahara opted for a black blouse and trouser combination.

But why was she here? The movie icon attended the annual Annie Awards, which are something like the Oscars – but for animated movies. The world’s most talented artists and animators made sure the competition was tough.

Jolie is the executive producer of one of this year’s best-animated movies, The Breadwinner, which tells the story of a young girl in Taliban-dominated Afghanistan. Detailing the girl’s struggles, the movie was nominated in several categories and managed to bag 10 Annie Awards.

And the poster is absolutely amazing. Just look at that, it’s magic!

Wanna see it? Me too! Here’s a short trailer for one of the best-animated movies recently:
