Parents who have their first newborn often struggle with the concept of getting the child to sleep in a timely manner. A fussy baby does not always want to listen to what it’s told, which can lead to a lot of frustration and in turn to fatigue and many sleepless nights. Some parents then drive around with their newborn in the backseat of their car in the middle of the night. It’s a burp life.
However, once in a blue moon (at which the parent howled in pain), a lonely parent somewhere makes a scientific breakthrough. And forget about spending gas and money to make your little sweet-hard fall asleep, because it did happen!
The simple trick was brought to the public’s attention by Nathan, an otherwise perfectly ordinary Australian father. Here are the ingredients: One minute and one tissue.
But does it work? Nathan’s trick has surely worked wonders on his three-month-old Seth, Goodfulness reports.
As the video shows, at first little Seth is wide awake in his crib. The fussy human cub will not go to sleep, so Dad is forced to employ his awesome tissue trick to get the baby to bed. Like so…
And, voila. Seth gets to snoring his baby snores. Parents everywhere will be singing Nathan praises once they finally get the chance to use this hack in their own home. No more long nights fighting with a fussy child who simply refuses to go to bed.
All you need to do is grab a tissue and lightly brush it over your newborn’s face for a few moments.
Needless to say, this hack also allows your growing baby to get the rest that they need. It also allows you to avoid the difficulties that are usually associated with bedtime. If you know any parents with a baby on their hands, be sure to spread the word and pass it along!
