Beauty Vlogger Replies To The Rude Comments About Her Eye Birthmark

Sonia Leslie is a beauty vlogger with more than 49,000 followers on Instagram. She is very adorable, funny and beautiful in her Instagram posts and youtube videos.  However, people have been asking what’s wrong with her eye? She has a birthmark on the right eye. Do you want to read the answers to these questions? She just seems to have the right reply to these people asking for her “wrongness”. Her reply below shows that the vlogger wasn’t comfortable at all with the way the people made the question. Besides all, there are lots of people who have birthmarks and that is pretty normal.

Here are some photos of other people having a birthmark :

There are two main categories of birthmarks:  vascular birthmarks and pigmented birthmarks.

She perfectly knew how to reply to these people:

“There’s nothing ‘wrong’ with my eye, please stop asking,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “First of all, it’s rude as f*ck. Secondly, mind ya business. Also, don’t ask me how it’s rude to ask someone ‘what’s wrong’ with them lmao I don’t care if you don’t think it’s rude. It’s not your face or your business. I said what I said, bye.”

She is not against people asking these questions. They just hurt her feelings by being cruel with  “the question”.

“It’s OK to be curious, but it can be found easily on Google”

However, after the reply to the rude comments Sonia’s followers supported her even more.

Ended up that Sonia has many followers who have birthmarks themselves.

And if we don’t have one birthmark, almost everybody of us knows someone that has one.

Sometimes we ask people about these birthmarks without thinking that we can hurt their feelings. Knowing that everybody is different in the first place should make us put ourselves in other people’s shoes. Let us be empathic and embrace our uniqueness. One can’t change much about the way he/she is born!
