The Make-A-Wish Foundation has been fulfilling the dreams of many kids for 37 years now. Founded in the United States, in 1980, the non-profit organization constantly arranges experiences described as “wishes” to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
In the spring, they fulfilled the wish of a little 7-year-old girl from Houston, Texas- Daisy Perez.
E! News contacted her aunt Patricia, who shared the photos as well as the backstory of her niece.
Sadly, Daisy was born with Achondroplasia (a form of dwarfism), and has so far undergone various surgical procedures, including surgeries in her head, neck and back.
However, a thoughtful nurse at the Children’s Health in Dallas nominated the brave girl for the Make A Wish Foundation.
After she was approved at the end of last year, Daisy decided she wanted to visit the Walt Disney World in Florida with her family, essentially to meet her favorite princess Belle from the Beauty and the Beast.
Her first choice was to meet the 25-year-old singer, Louis Tomlinson, from the boy bend One Direction. However, she opted for Disney World because she wanted something she could share with her brother and sister.
“Daisy was jumping up and down from excitement and was balling her eyes out when Belle told her she would take her on the tour,” Patricia told E! News.
“Daisy was sobbing from happiness, and everyone around her was crying, too.”
Moreover, Belle decided to make the little girl’s dreams come true and asked to take the whole family on a Tour of France.
“Disney characters never break character, but Belle almost started crying when she said goodbye to Daisy [at the end of the tour] because she was so touched,” the aunt concluded.
