Big Bang Theory, Little Sheldon Prequel Is Upon Us! Get Ready!

Ever wonder what Sheldon Cooper must have looked like as a kid? Get ready for the Little Sheldon prequel!

The first time that The Big Bang Theory entered our homes and hearts was back in September, 2007. It’s been 10 years that we’ve been living and laughing with the main characters.

The series closely follows the lives of Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, who are both WizKids working at Cal Tech in Pasadena, California.

They spend their free time mostly with their two other Cal Tech colleagues mechanical engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali.

How do four nerds spend their time together?

Playing video games, watching science-fiction movies or reading comic books.

And this is exactly the plot of the show! This is where it gets it twist!

The thing is, these four dudes don’t have much luck with the ladies.

Much of the funniest moments of the show are provided by character Sheldon Cooper and his eccentric antics.

And this is exactly why the show is getting its own prequel revolving around Sheldon’s pre-adolescent years.

“Picture him as a 10-year-old boy growing up in Texas with a very right-wing family, not used to this 10-year old genius living in their midst. It’s a terrific script and we have a terrific little kid.”

This is how CBS CEO Les Moonves described the plot of the upcoming prequel.

He also mentioned the network being damn close to signing the show for at least 48 more episodes. The two sides are negotiating a two-year renewal deal.

The kid actor to be honored to play little Sheldon is Iain Armitage. This little cutie pie here is now featured in the show Big Little Lies as the son of Jane Chapman, portrayed by Shailene Woodley.

He is a rather major character on the show since his story arc is revolving around the boy’s alleged physical attack on another girl on the first day of school.

It is reported that each episode of the show is expected to reach the 30-minute mark.

The show will also feature Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan.

Jim Parsons will be featured only as a narrator of the show!
