The famous country singer, Carrie Underwood, had a accident falling down the steps of her house in November, but the details of the accident have only recently been revealed.
She said she had a broken wrist at the time, but she reportedly had been suffering many cuts to the face and required 40-50 stitches.

The singer revealed to her fans that, since the accident she is “not quite looking the same.”

A message she penned for the members of her fan club reads, “I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way. And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.”

She is married to Canadian former professional ice hockey player Mike Fisher, who spoke about how the “random accident” changed her life.
Even though Carrie did not get into any specifics, the singer revealed that the doctor told Mike first about the stitches.

The message goes, “It’s crazy how a freak random accident can change your life. I’ll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in.”

She was scheduled to perform at the Country Rising benefit show in Nashville on November 12 but had to cancel it because of the accident.
After a couple of days she hosted the 2017 Country Music Awards along with Brad Paisley.

Ever since the incident, she has been hiding her face from the public even though she has been updating fans every now and then on the touching moments.
Carrie shared though some family pictures that feature her legs and eyes.
