Every day we have the opportunity to learn more and more about our favorite celebrities. We find out who they’re dating, fighting, how much they’re worth and who are their famous parents. Sometimes, celebrities can get very personal about their life and share amazing stories about their past and how they grew up. And other times, they don’t have a problem to mention that they were adopted. And why would they? Their parents deserve congratulations.

1. Kristin Davis

She was adopted by her stepfather when she was only 3 years old. Kristin said that she couldn’t imagine calling someone else “Dad.” Awww!
