Heterochromia. The meaning is a coinage of two Latin words: hetero – meaning ‘different’, and chromia, meaning colour. Logically, then, heterochromia is the condition where one has two differently coloured eyes. Think David Bowie and his spectacular gaze.
But, it’s not just the late Starman who had the medical condition known as “heterochromia iridis” – many more celebrities have the irises of their eyes in different colour. And to this day, I’ve never seen anyone saying it’s bad, or unattractive. The most I’ve heard is people saying that it’s weird, but truth be told, having differently colored eyes can be very charming, if not downright beautiful.
Today, we’re looking at nineteen celebrities who have this interesting condition, courtesy of Ranker. Some of the celebrities include actor Kiefer Sutherland, Mila Kunis, and even Kate Bosworth. But who else has it? You can find the results below. Enjoy making eye contact… *wink*
