Chris Hemsworth Professed His Fame Took A Toll On His Marriage

One of the most desirable men in Hollywood, Chris Hemsworth, has laid himself bare in a recent interview with GQ Australia.

The famous 34-year-old actor uncovered the details about his continuous battle to balance the blossoming career and the family life.

Over the past few years, he has been constantly stealing women’s hearts around the world. However, unfortunately for all those ladies, he belongs to one woman only – Elsa Pataky, 41.

They have been married for almost seven years and have three adorable children together.

“My wife and I fell in love, had kids, didn’t really see each other for a few years, then fell back in love,” said Hemsworth.

Hemsworth talked about how having children at the same time his career sky-rocketed took a toll on his relationship with his wife, Elsa Pataky.

“In terms of work, she’s certainly given up more than I have.” Chris confessed.

“But I feel like I’m at this crucial point in my career — I’ve just got to set up for longevity or I’ll slip off,” he added.

Crediting all his success to his wife, the Aussie actor claimed that once people have children, their time starts to be consumed by it.

"In terms of work, she's certainly given up more than I have. She'd like me to step back and be at home with the kids more, and of course, I want that too. But I feel like I'm at this crucial point in my career — I've just got to set up for longevity or I'll slip off," he added.

“You’ve got nothing for each other — so make sure you have date night even if it’s once in a blue moon, because most of the time you’re just too tired and you’d actually prefer to sleep.”

Moreover, as a result of his demanding profession, Hemsworth wasn’t able to spend as much time with his loving family.

He also talked about how romance took a backseat to raising their kids.

And that was why their relationship began to slightly sour. However, as every other couple does, he and his wife find many ways to keep their romance alive.

As an example, taking time for each other away from their kids.

Ultimately, when asked if he ever writes his wife love letters, Hemsworth admitted: “I don’t, but maybe I should.”

“There’s no shortage of how much I tell her I love her. But I guess there’s no detail in it, why or how.”

Thus, what else is there to say except that true love never dies.

When the interviewer asked him if he'd ever written Elsa love letters, he admitted he could be more expressive.
