George Clooney Transitioning From The Man In Front Of Camera, To The Man Behind It

Clooney

George Clooney is definitely the most handsome man on the planet, won many awards and starred in huge films in his life. So it’s perfectly understandable that so many men either want to be him, or they’re jealous of him.

Movies like Ocean’s 11, O’Brother, Where Art Thou? and Burn After Reading will always be remembered as some of his greatest works. Oh and what about his awful depiction of Batman?

While he is one of the most successful actors out there, he might take a step back from the camera now.

George’s price for a movie was $16.5 million but the main reason that he wants to give up his job is due to his tequila company that he sold for one billion. Wow!

“Look, I acted for a long time and, you know, I’m 56. I’m not the guy that gets the girl anymore,” he said according to UK’s The Times.

“Well, yeah, I shouldn’t be the guy that gets the girl. But, look, if somebody’s got Paul Newman in The Verdict, I’d jump.”

“But there aren’t that many like that. Acting used to be how I paid the rent, but I sold a tequila company for a billion f*cking dollars. I don’t need money.”

We have seen him moving away from Hollywood gradually ever since he founded his tequila company in 2013. Even though it the company celebrated a four years anniversary, Clooney decided to sell it for one billion dollars in June.

But he might not leave Hollywood just yet.  From the man in front of the camera to the seats behind it, you might see him in the world of directing.

His latest project includes a movie called Suburbicon that only a man from Hollywood could put a star-cast and a production team up like that. The movie is written by Clooney and the Coen brothers, starring Matt Damon, Julianne Moore and Oscar Isaac.

Critics haven’t taken it too kindly but Clooney won’t care. I mean, at the end of the day, he sold his company for one billion dollars.
