After the huge success of Wonder Woman, the stunning Gal Gadot has become a household name worldwide. But not too many people are aware that Gadot was a combat trainer in the Israel Defense Forces, Israel’s military, for two years. It even helped her land her first role in Hollywood, because the film’s director liked the fact that she had a military background. In case you’re wondering, conscription is mandatory in Israel for everyone over the age of 18, and it is one of only a few countries with a mandatory military service requirement for women. The military service law requires that female combat soldiers serve 2 years and 4 months of mandatory service, and continue in reserves service up to age 38. Each year, 1,500 female combat soldiers are drafted into the IDF. Women like Gal Gadot also have to go through a tough boot camp before they’re given their assignment.
Coral Zitker is another young lady from the Israeli military that could suit up and become a superhero. Her set of curves would capture everyone’s attention and she probably wouldn’t need a stunt double. She looks comfortable in uniform, and very comfortable without it, so you better look out, Hollywood.
