After a lot of whispers and Hollywood rumors, Daniel Craig finally confirmed that he will indeed be playing James Bond one more time. His admission confirms the blonde Bond will be back on the big screen.
You can actually watch him tease the reveal on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert just down below.
The 49-year-old Brit actor told Colbert:
“I’ve been quite cagey about it.
“I’ve been doing interviews about it all day and people have been asking me and I’ve been kind of coy but I kind of felt like, if I was going to speak the truth, I should speak the truth to you.”
He was pressured to give Colbert the good news about the return and then said: “Yes, and I couldn’t be happier.”
The hopes for a more diverse Bond are shattered but however, Craig’s portrayal in the previous movies, added a welcome dimension to the Lothario-turned-spy that viewers hadn’t seen before.
Down below you can see Bond at his best in Sam Mendes’ Spectre.
While no director is attached, the untitled Bond movie has a November 8, 2019 release date. This will be his final outing as a Bond while celebrating the franchise’s 25th film. Congrats!
