I kind of have the feeling that every home has an ‘everything’ drawer, or cupboard. You know, that space where you put everything you don’t feel like throwing out immediately. Cell phone cases, old lighters, some tools, notebooks, newspaper clippings, batteries…
And sometimes there are so many (and out of their package) you can’t tell which ones are good and which ones are bad. Well, there’s a Youtube video for it. A trick, actually, that will show you immediately which one goes in the trash.
The easiest way to do it is to use a meter of course, but not everyone has this device at home.
So, if you need to check, all you have to do is just drop them gently, so they would fall on their bottom. A good battery won’t bounce and will remain straight. A bad battery will bounce a little and tip over.
It’s as easy as that and it works with any alkaline battery you might have.
Bajarider1000 is a small, but very useful Youtube channel, whose owner is into off-road motorcycles and various family activities.
And apparently knows batteries, too.
