Just another good reason to be a great fan of the one and only Emma Watson!
Brace yourselves: this time she is making the public transportation in London a lot more awesome!
On Tuesday Emma Watson informed her fans through her Instagram profile that she’s been hiding copies of “Mom & Me & Mom,” a book by Maya Angelou, around the London subway.
This book is the latest recommendation in the feminist book club of Watson called ‘Our Shared Shelf’. The club started off in January with Gloria Steinem’s “On The Road” and it is open to absolutely anyone who wants to join. If you want to be part of this club you can simply do it through Goodreads.
The super cool club even has it’s own Instagram account which recently shared a photo from a lucky reader that found one of the hidden books.
Watson is known for fighting for gender equality. As a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador she also serves as the face of the UN Women’s initiative HeForShe campaign, aiming to engage men in the fight for women’s equality all around the world.
Though she has been given dumb names like ‘feminazi’ by haters, she says this is not going to stop her. Guess haters gonna hate! Go for it Emma!
“Call me whatever you want,” she said in a March interview with Esquire. “It’s not going to stop me from trying to do the right thing and make sure that the right thing happens.”
