Why We Fell In Love With The Unique Model Winnie Harlow, Who Loves Her Vitiligo

There are so many people who try to hide their imperfections by putting tons of makeup and undergoing dangerous surgeries, but there are a few who love themselves the way they are. They are not afraid to stand out from the crowd and show how proud they are with being different. This is not so common, especially if a person is suffering from a health condition, but there is one lady who breaks the prejudice and embraces her outward imperfection. The 22-year-old Chantelle Brown-Young, also known as Winnie Harlow, is a model with vitiligo, and she shines whenever she appears or talks about her life with this skin disease.

She was diagnosed with vitiligo at the age of four. When she was in primary school, her classmates would call her a zebra, or a cow. As she grew up, model agencies in Toronto would turn her down. Her life was far from easy.
