Toxins build up in our bodies from processed food, pollution, smoking and myriads of other daily things we encounter. There is a growing market for detoxification of our bodies and one unique way is through the feet.
There are a few different methods you can try and also a few different opinions on their efficacy, but some people find foot detoxing a convenient way to rid your body of the build up of pollutants.
We’ve collected some of the more common ways for you to try out.
FOOT DETOX PADS
Pads made from bamboo and tree extracts which originated from Japan. Place the pads on your feet before you sleep. When you awake the pads have soaked up the toxins which is shown through a colour change. Such pads can be purchased at health stores.
You will need:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Hot (almost boiling) water
Mix all the ingredients and wait for the water to cool. Soak your feet in the bath for 15 minutes.
