How To Make A Giant Donut Pinata

Who doesn’t love a sweet DONUT?

I know but hold on.. it gets even better. This one is not like the others, this is a giant donut pinata filled with chocolate and candy snacks. Aren’t you just dying to know what’s in there already?

Thanks to Elise we get to learn this recipe on her YouTube channel called MyCupcakeAddiction. Elise has a big passion for baking, decorating and making sweet and fun cakes. She uploads new tutorials every Wednesday and Sunday and also has her own Cookbook called Sweet Celebrations.

This recipe is such a good idea for birthdays especially.

What you will need:

  • 500g white chocolate
  • 30g (approx) milk or dark chocolate or some brown candy coloring.
  • 250g additional white chocolate plus some pink candy coloring (or pink candy melts).
  • Sprinkles – as many or as few as you like
  • Candy

  • A silicone giant cupcake mould
  • A couple of bowls
  • Spatula
  • Spoons
  • Snap seal bags

How to do it:

The first thing she does is create that caramel color by applying a tiny bit of dark chocolate and then putting it in two silicone donut moulds. Using a spatula she spreads the mixture in the whole mould. After that’s done, put the moulds in two separate  bowls. After they are solid she puts the candies in one giant donut and then covers it with the other one. She puts some pink cream and sprinkles on it and she’s done.
