When 31-year-old, Joan Bremer was only seven weeks pregnant she was experiencing some very scary symptoms such as bleeding and cramping. After visiting the doctor, he broke the bad news that Bremer had lost the baby. Soon after she was thining of a way to remember the lost soul and the idea of a tattoo popped up.
“Losing a baby, even if it’s early in pregnancy, is just so difficult,” Bremer said.
A few days later, to pay a tribute to the baby she never had, she decided to get a tattoo. She found the perfect design.
The tattoo is a black line that transforms into a silhouette of a pregnant mother with two red hearts in both the mother and child’s chests.
