I HEART U
If you want to dispatch a letter to someone… why would you? There’s text messaging applications, e-mails and other such things. But where is the heart?
Just kidding. If you want to be old-fashioned, and if you’re sending it to someone special, you best send an actual letter.
No matter how young or old you are, I’m sure you know how it goes. You write the letter, put it in an envelope, lick the envelope to make sure it’s a tight close (that sounded so wrong) and then put the mailing address and stuff on the envelope itself.
Like I said, if that person you’re sending the letter to is a bit special, you should probably make an effort for the whole thing to look somewhat special.
Well, Troom Troom is here to help you with their DIY heart envelope!
Although this might seem terribly complicated at first, it’s going to be well worth it if you think who the recipient is.
All you’ll need is pattern paper, color paper and some white glue.
To simplify it for you, you have to fold the paper several times in certain ways, and then make a stylized heart shape using the colored paper.
Then, all you have to do is place the message inside the letter, et voila!
If you want to keep it simple, but still give your loved one something special this Valentine’s Day, check out how to make this cute envelope in the video below.
By the way, this video gave me an idea for a drinking game. Take a shot every time the narrator says “open up the paper” or “crease”.
