Here’s How The Home Alone House Looks Today

Kevin!!! If that dread-filled scream of a petrified mother gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling, you were definitely a Home Alone fan while growing up.

The first of the two Chris Columbus’ productions came out back in 1990 and was a smash hit: it was the highest grossing live action comedy film for the next 11 years! There was a sequel two years later in which Kevin McCallister repeats his antics in New York City. In the original movie, however, he’s holding fort at his family’s veritable mansion: The McCallister House.

The three-story is located at 671 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka, Illinois, on the outskirts of Chicago. It was built in 1920 and it sold for $1.585 million back in 2012, the Chicago Tribune reported.
