Remember that guy that appeared on My Strange Addiction a few years ago that prided himself on spending thousands of dollars on plastic surgery to look like a real life Ken doll?
Well, there’s a new guy on the block who’s trying to recreate Barbie’s unrealistically proportioned partner, first released 56 years ago.
Meet Rodrigo Alves, the guy who has spent an incredible £400,000 ($489,000) on plastic surgery procedures to perfect the look of a living Ken doll.
More recently, the 33-year-old Brazilian internet celebrity had been showing off his £22,000 ab implants.
Despite looking quite fit and having a body of dreams, even Rodrigo himself admits that he is not exactly fit.
“People say to me that I look so fit, but, darling, my abs are fake. I have £22k silicone implants. My arms are fake and full of filler.”
“I’m not fit at all. I can’t even run a mile. I am out of breath and shaking and about to faint at any moment. But I am trying.” he added.
He has been going under the knife regularly since 1988, but he seems keen on avoiding surgeries as much as he can, due to his wish to become a fitness model.
“I’ve already had so many procedures and want to avoid having more, to become a fitness model. I want to lose as much weight as I can and I’m living off air and liquid at the moment.” he said.
As you can see from this picture below, he has done quite a few things, and all of those have been quite expensive.
Like anyone would, Alves was asked how could he afford that many surgeries, and his response was “My grandparents left me with property, I am very blessed, and I used to be a flight attendant and now I have two shows on TV, one here and one in the USA. This is how I pay for all this surgery.”
Look how different he looked before all of his surgeries!
One thing I can say about Rodrigo is that he definitely has a hefty load of surgeries under his skin (literally), but at least he’s honest about it.
Do you approve of Rodrigo’s surgeries? Do you think he looks better now? Let us know in the comments!
