Husband Insists To Get Buried With His Money, Spouse Takes Heed

Seeing our loved ones pass away and get buried is a great trauma and lives us scarred for the rest of our lives.

There will always be at least one person on this world who will love you throughout your life, as well as when you are already gone.

At least, that’s what they say.

And you better be good to your fellow human, love them unconditionally, help anytime you can and just generally live in peaceful accordance to those that surround you.

Selfishness is the murderer of love and respect.

Not so long ago, and read this story about a couple. Actually, the man had died and his wife was to take care of the funeral and to see to his last wishes being granted.

This man was a hard-working man all his life. Because of this reason, he felt quite self-righteous.

He even came up with this idea that when he leaves this world, his money should go with him. Just like the pharaos did. He wanted to be buried with his life-long savings.

His wife was left to grant him this wish.

Now, imagine being a spouse to a person like that. I feel that this lady had to go through a lot with a husband such as hers. An eccentric, stingy little man!

As they were sitting gathered around his funeral, the pallbearers were ready to lower the casket into the ground.

The wife stood up and abruptly shouted “Wait!”.

She held a shoebox in her hand. She came close to the casket and placed the shoebox in there.

Then, she silently went back to her spot. The men locked the casket and rolled it away.

Her best friend turned around to face her and said:” ‘I hope you weren’t crazy enough to put all that money in there with that stingy old man.’

Of course, the lady being who she is, answered that as a true and devoted Christian, she had to grant his last wishes, or else she would never be able to live with herself!

‘You mean to tell me you put every cent of his money in the casket with him?’, said her friend.

‘I sure did,’ said the wife. ‘I got it all together, put it into my account and I wrote him a check.’ ”

You go girl.
