Having alzheimer disease can be scary. Soon you start to forget the memories with your loved ones, unable to think clearly and you can’t do simple tasks. It can be very emotional and challenging for the person who suffers from Alzheimers. June Anderson has Alzheimer’s and her husband Bruce got her a canine companion, Sadie.
This dog will be a very true companion to June because he will help June to get home safely when they go out for walks in the neighborhood. Sadie had to learn to get around the neighborhood. One crucial test had to be ‘taken’ – Sadie and June had to bond – they had to be a good match, or Sadie wouldn’t be able to stay with June and Bruce.
