Before The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon wasn’t that big of a deal in Hollywood, but everyone knows and loves him now!
Sadly, the 43-year-old actor and talk show host’s mother, Gloria Fallon has passed away aged just 68.
The news arrived to the host shortly after taking his November 3rd episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon off the air due to an at-the-time unspecified personal problem.
A spokesperson for the Fallon family confirmed, “Jimmy was at his mother’s bedside, along with her loved ones, when she passed away at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC. Our prayers go out to Jimmy and his family as they go through this tough time.”
While Fallon didn’t share that much of his personal life, he did tweet out something that he used to do with his mother, as a tribute, with the hashtag “#MomQuotes” this past May. In the tweet, he wrote, “My mom and I were talking on the phone for the third time that day and she actually said, ‘We don’t talk enough.’ #MomQuotes”

Since Fallon doesn’t share much of his private life with the general public, it is unclear what was the cause of his mother passing away, but another spokesperson close to the family made things a little bit clearer.

They said that the host’s mother had been sick and in hospital, and that ultimately led to him taking the November 3rd episode of his show off the air. The last show that was shown on TV before the tragic passing of Gloria Fallon took place on November 2nd, at 11:34 PM on NBC.
All our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Fallon and his family.
