Are you tired of all the Golden Globes talk yet? Well, the Internet isn’t and social media users are going on and on about one thing. Kendall Jenner’s acne! You may have heard that the 22-year-old came under fire for her acne after appearing full of pimples on the red carpet, and now she has sent out a clear message to her critics.
Acne is a frustrating thing to have to deal with. Also, not everyone deals with it in the same way. While most teenagers struggle with acne for a period of time, some are left with the scars for the rest of their lives. At this year’s Golden Globe Awards, the young Jenner decided to embrace her natural self on the red carpet at this year’s Golden Globe Awards, which didn’t sit too nicely with some.

Not everyone has perfect skin. To those telling Kendall Jenner to wash her face or eat better y’all are bitter asf! You could have the cleanest skin routine, eat clean and work out each day and still have acne. Cmon people stop being narrow minded 🙄🙄

While some critical fans were quick to judge her acne-marked face, others were more supportive, such as one Twitter user, who wrote that Jenner “showing up and strutting her acne while looking like a gorgeous star is what every girl needs to understand.”
Kendall was also quick to reply, telling people struggling with acne to “never let that sh*t stop you”.

This is not the first time that Kendall has spoken about her struggle with acne. A couple of years ago, she wrote about it on her blog, which has since been discontinued:
“I had such bad acne when I was younger. It completely ruined my self-esteem – I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face… ” she wrote.
“Even after things started to clear up, it took a solid amount of time to be okay with my skin and gain back my confidence. I realized that it’s a part of life for some people and it doesn’t define who you are.”
Sounds relatable? Damn right it is, Internet!
