Kim Kardashian West is a famous public figure, after all, but now her daughter, North, also wants her own YouTube channel?! After watching a lot of tutorials on the video hosting website, the 4-year-old now wants now to follow suit.
In an interview with Fashion Journal: Women’s Wear Daily, Kim revealed: ‘The other day, it was so funny. My daughter watches so many YouTube tutorials and videos.”
“She was unboxing the My Little Pony ColourPop collection, and I thought to myself, ‘I wish I was recording this,’ because her reaction was so funny. And then she did makeup on the My Little Pony that they gave and she said, ‘Mom, I want to do a YouTube video.'”
However, her father, Kanye West, is not open to the idea and his wife Kim also admits that she is worried about the child being exposed on social media.
“I don’t know if it’s something she would really want to do… but it’s always a struggle on how much you want to have exposed or how much access you want them to have to social media,” she added.
“In the world we live in today, I don’t think you ask someone young growing up to not be on social media – that’s just cruel. That’s like asking someone to not communicate.”
The mother of two, four-year-old North and 23-months-old Saint, is also expecting a child via a surrogate with the due date set for December.
She also admits that she sometimes dresses her daughter in her old clothes.
She explained: “It’s been such a fun journey to figure out how our kids like to dress and how to make cool clothes for kids. We’ve always been tailoring things and cutting things up, or taking dresses of mine and cutting them down to North’s size.”
