Spring being upon us, Kim decided to grace our home feeds with yet another makeup tutorial, this time around using colors in accordance with the season ahead.
We are starting with the eyes first. Draw your eyebrow. Proceed by priming the eyelids using the Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer. It’s going to give us a nice, clean canvas for the eye shadow.
Using the ‘Safe Word’ shade from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics “Androgyny” Eyeshadow Palette we are setting the primer. Next, we are blending some peachy eyeshadow into the crease. Blend in with light, circular motions.
Going back at the Androgyny Palette, we are going to scoop a bit from the ‘Dominatrix’ shade and we are going to apply that right above the first shade that we used. Make sure the first shade is peaking out from behind. Work the new shade on the lower crease area.
Continue by deepening the outer V of the eye with the Makeup Forever M-100 BLACK Eyeshadow which is a matte eyeshadow. Then blend out the edges.
We are going to use some concealer to carve out the inner portion of the lid. The point is to create a good portion of clean eyelid to pop on the yellow eyeshade on.
Ultimately, we are going to go with a bright yellow eye shadow in the inner portion of the lid. We are using one of the shades from the NYX Cosmetics Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette. We are going to build the yellow until we get the desired intensity. Blend!
Next, we are going to work on defining the look. Highlight the area under the brow bone first. Then, take a makeup wipe and clean out the edges. Define the eyes with an eye liner.
Take the rest of the fall out off with a wipe. Continue with your daily ‘face’ routine. Apply foundation and later define the facial bone structure by contouring the face.
Highlight and put some color on to your cheeks.
Finish it off with some liquid lip liner in your preferred shade!
And there you go! Your perfect spring makeup!
