While Kylie Jenner is everywhere these days, all the attention she gets (and it’s a lot) probably clouded her vision and made her forget that, no matter how famous she is, she’s not the first Kylie to walk this earth.
Because, you know, before Jenner’s parents even met, there was a Kylie Minogue, and while this may not be the best news for the baby Kylie, Lady Kylie still rocks as hard as she always did.
In April 2015, Jenner tried to trademark the name ‘Kylie’ which was immediately opposed by Minogue’s team, who stated that “internationally renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast cancer activist” who already owns Kylie-related trademarks in the US in several industries, as well as the website www.kylie.com.”

It has also been reported that in November 2015, Jenner separately tried to trademark the name “KYLIE JENNER” for a long list of clothing and accessories. But this was rejected in July last year.
