YouTube channel called Cookies Cupcakes and Cardio shares a lot of yummy cake tutorials with us and today we are learning how to do the lemon cream puff.

Fruits are the best part of this puff and you won’t believe how easy it is to prepare.

What you need:

  • Prepared puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup lemon pie filling
  • Fresh fruit (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, cherries, kiwis etc)

How to do it:

Start by rolling the puff pastry dough out thinly on a floured surface and cut it into 2-3 rounds. Place on parchment lined baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until it’s golden brown and let it cool off. In a bowl, whip the whipping cream. Then you should add lemon filling and continue to whisk until stiff peaks develop. You place the lemon cream into a piping bag fitted with a large tip.

You should separate puff pastry rounds into two pieces and pipe the lemon cream filling onto the bottom half. Top bottom half with fresh fruit. Dust with icing sugar and top with fruits.
