McCanns Thought Little Maddie Had Been Found Twice, A Spokesperson Reveals

Do you remember the story of the missing British girl in Portugal? Madeleine Beth McCann, born in 2003, disappeared on the evening of 3 May 2007 from her bed in a holiday apartment. This happened in Praia da Luz, a resort in the Algarve region of Portugal. Even after so many years, the police still can’t find her. However, her family has gone through a lot lately. They got a call to get on a plane, taking them to Morocco to meet their missing daughter again, reveals a spokesperson.

Clarence Mitchell, who used to work for the BBC, has now revealed details about his investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance. He revealed the two times Madeline’s parents thought they could finally meet their daughter again. The spokesperson began working for Kate and Gerry McCann in 2007, when Maddie disappeared in Portugal.

At the end of 2007, the private investigators found a little “blonde-haired girl who spoke English” in Morocco. The spokesperson explained: “All the information coming back to us suggested heavily that it could be Madeleine, so much so that an aircraft was put on stand-by, with its engines running, waiting to fly to pick her up.” But sadly, that girl wasn’t Madeleine.

Additionally, the reporter revealed what happened a few months after he began working on the investigation. He began to receive 3am phone calls from the ‘same ghostly man’s voice’. Interestingly, this man gave him the name of a farm near Seville where he said the little girl was hidden.

Clarence got his hopes up, starting to believe he was on to something. However, that wasn’t the case. The man lied, as did so many other hoaxers and ransom seekers. He never got an explanation of these seemingly unimportant events.

He also adds something about his relationship with Maddie’s family: “I am proud to have supported them and continue to do so when needed and wish them well in everything they do.” Clarence has hope that one day he will find the girl alive.

Also, there is no evidence suggesting she experienced physical harm. Therefore, she may be alive, and that’s what her parents also believe. The McCanns prepare to fund the search for Maddie and will not give up until they find their little girl.
