We know it’s not summer yet and you can’t find ice cream can be hard to come by. But we sure miss it like hell and that’s probably the reason why we ended up here.
You probably know by now the famous YouTube channel called Cookies Cupcakes and Cardio, where the lovely Jenn teaches us different yummy recipes with inimitable style and wit. This time we’re sharing with you how to make donut ice cream cones.
The best part about these ice cream cones? They have Nutella in them!
- Croissant dough
- Sugar cones
- Aluminum foil
- Non-stick spray
- Cinnamon sugar
- Melted butter
- Melting chocolate (pink and brown)
Start off by rolling out the croissant dough and press the cut lines back together. Roll out with a rolling pin into a rectangle shape, and cut into strips. Then roll each strip into a rope-like form, and wrap three ropes around the foil covered cone, pressing the ends of each rope into each other.
Bake in a preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool and remove the cone mold. Brush each cone with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar lightly over the butter. Then dip them in Nutella or pink melting chocolate, add sprinkles and whatever ice cream your craving. Share with your friends.
