Since we already are in 2017 a lot of people are trying to work on their New Year’s resolutions like eating healthier, giving up different addictions, hitting the gym, being a better person etc. There are a lot of ways how you can improve and make changes to yourself and New Year is when people start to think about it.
But, when January is finished it’s so easy to blow everything out and slip back into your comfort zone and old routines. Still, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it and one blogger who managed to kick his two addictions explains this the best. He hasn’t touched coffee or alcohol for two years now.

To some people, this might seem impossible since coffee is a must in the morning and alcohol at night. But this didn’t stop Tobias van Schneider to mark his second year without any drop of coffee or alcohol on December 26th, 2016.
It’s very inspiring to read his experiences and what he went through during these two years on his blog. His lifestyle changed completely and he saw big health improvements.
Everything changed for better!
Now, he lives life differently.
Making this decision, helped Tobias save about 1,000 dollars per month. The best part about this is that he gossiped less, improved his sleep quality and anxiety levels.
“It’s amazing to see the culture of drinking slowly fading away from your life,” explains Tobias.

As for coffee. Tobias says that it was more like a social event because he wasn’t in a big need for caffeine. Now he has changed his lifestyle by drinking iced and hot teas because you can simply replace your habit with something else. Keep in mind he is only sharing his story with us and not telling anyone to change their lifestyle.
