Before she found her way into the Royal family, 36-year-old Meghan Markle came from an ordinary family. Nowadays, she is eagerly walking with her soon-to-be husband, 33-year-old Prince Harry, whom she will marry in May next year. They officially announced their engagement on 27 November and everyone got excited to find out all of the details. Eagle-eyed fans also wanted to find out every single detail of Meghan Markle’s past. The latest news is that Meghan Markle’s sister is about to write a revealing memoir about her sister called ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister’.
Just a decade ago, Meghan found herself as a “briefcase girl” on the renowned game show Deal Or No Deal. She then took her acting career in the direction of the courtroom, playing Rachel Zane on Suits for seven seasons. The show made her popular and loved among her fans. The American actress is, in fact, no stranger to the media attention.
Markle was raised in Southern California, by two loving parents. She was the only child of Tom Markle and African American born Doria Radlan, but grew up with two half-siblings from her father’s first marriage.
Samantha Grant, 17 years older than Meghan, who is also a former actress and model, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She is Meghan’s 52-year-old half-sister living in Florida. Upon the reveal of Meghan and Prince Harry’s romance, the half-sister began to make some questionable comments to the media. She even started calling Meghan a “shallow social climber” who “is not fit to be a member of the Royal Family”. Moreover, she accused Meghan of not assisting her financially. “I didn’t feel a separation from her until I was in a wheelchair. The more high profile she became, she never mentioned me.” On top of everything, she is writing all about Meghan in a new memoir book.
According to Grant’s twitter feed, the book will be titled The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister. There are all sorts of questions popping out right now.
“Well, it is true that I’m writing a book and the title is accurate, what is not true (is) this unbelievable swell that’s been created that it’s some sort of slamming ‘tell-all’”, Samantha said in an interview with Good Morning Britain. People started wondering what the intention of her memoir really is.
Samantha claims that this isn’t an attack towards her sister and that it’s more of a “beautiful, warm, witty story of our lives and my life.” A report from E! News back in April suggests that the sisters were never actually raised in the same house, due to the age gap.
Samantha has publically stated her excitement and pride for her sister. However, at this point we can’t stop wondering what her real intentions with the memoir are.
