Forty-seven-year-old singer and songwriter Mariah Carey has been all over the news recently, especially after the news of her shocking secret gastric sleeve surgery. Apparently, after online bullying, Mariah decided to secretly undergo the surgery to help her battle with weight loss. Also, in the beginning of this month, she was pictured with her ‘new manager’ after her fallout with her ex-manager, Stella Bulochnikov.
Followers of the pop queen believe Melissa Ruderman is the new girl in charge of the diva’s affairs, as reported by the DailyMail. Many fansites reported that she is her ‘new manager’, especially after the two of them were pictured together earlier this month. Ruderman formerly managed the 39-year-old singer Nicole Scherzinger, and was a personal assistant to music producer Benny Medina.
On November 1, Melissa was pictured with Mariah at her handprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Fan podcast TheMariahReport and fan Instagram account queenofshademc both shared the news days after Mariah’s fallout with Stella.
“The lady literally has twitter wars with her clients’ fans,” the site claimed.
They also posted several foul-mouthed tweets Ruderman allegedly posted while managing the former Pussycat Doll.
Over the weekend it was reported that Mariah’s boyfriend, 34-year-old dancer Brian Tanaka recently took over managing her career. There was also a suggestion that he and Melissa may be sharing the role of manager.
On November 4, Mariah and Stella, who was her manager for three years, announced they were parting ways.
Next, Page Six claimed Tanaka was the one ‘behind the whole split (of) Mariah and Stella’.
“Bryan believes that he should be the one running Mariah’s day-to-day life,” an insider claimed. “He’s been orchestrating Stella’s exit for a long time.”
The insider continued: “No one enjoys working with Stella. There’s no secret that some people are happy she’s out of the picture.”
Bulochnikov was still an asset for the Carey estate.
The former TV producer was responsible for the pop star’s E! series as well as her Vegas residency.
Some people close to the singer think her beau isn’t the right one to run her career next to Melissa.
Carey insiders told Page Six: “The boyfriend backup dancer definitely isn’t the right person to run her career.”
Another source compared the couple to another pop catastrophe.
