The Met Gala, called formally the Costume Institute Gala is also known as the Met Ball, is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. But the sensation of it through years became somehow as an “Oscars of the East Coast” and one of the main events during the year where you can spot celebrities roaming around all dressed up and arranged.
The attendance list is carefully reviewed and the people who get approved to attend The Met Gala are usually a mixed list of famous people, which includes star athletes, actors, musicians and social media sensations. Even if you had those $25.000 dollars to pay for the ticket, that doesn’t mean you can push on your name on the list. Nope. They are very picky when it comes to the attendance list. Call it good or bad – that’s what floats their boat.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan, Beyoncé, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez are regular names on the list, though this year’s list is still being hush-hushed. This year will be the one to mark the 70’s anniversary for this event.

John Galliano is the designer who took care of Katy Perry 2017 attendance in this mega-event. However, Perry received bad comments and was criticized for collaborating with Galliano, who in 2011 was convicted for his anti-Semitic comments caught on tape.
Remember when everybody thought that actor Clooney was never going to get married since there was no woman enough of a woman to fill his eye? Well, that opinion certainly changed with time. Here are the famous couple attending 2015 Met Gala. For all of you which still don’t know: his wife Amal Clooney is a human rights lawyer.
