Michael Jackson’s Favorite Child Was His Daughter Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson was the apple of Michael Jackson’s eye when she was little. She was always his favorite kid, being the only girl in the bunch!

Her mom, Debbie Rowe gave birth to her on April 3rd and this is when Paris came to grace Michael Jackson’s life!

Michael met Debbie Rowe in the late 90s  when she was working as a nurse for the dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein, where Jackson was being treated for vitiligo. He had just divorced Lisa Marie Presley in 1996 and he couldn’t handle the thought of never having children, so Debbie offered to bear his children.
Don’t be mistaken to think that she acted only as a surrogate mother to Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. and Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson. She is considered to be their legitimate mother and they were born out of a consensual relationship. Being the only daughter that Michael ever had, she was treated as his favorite!

Paris and her brother, subsequently named Prince, grew up on the Neverland ranch together with their step-brother, Prince Michael Jackson II.
Their godparents are Elizabeth Taylor and Macaulay Culkin, who were longtime friends of Michael’s.

Paris even admits herself that she would be favored in many instances due to being the only girl, and she received special treatment.
“When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers. Growing up, I was treated as the favorite because I was the only girl,” she said to Harper’s Bazaar magazine. “I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad’s eyes.”

It is reported that she was home-schooled till the age of 12. With that being said, the only interaction that she had on a daily basis was that with grown-ups who would also address her as one of them. This means she lacked social skills regarding how she connected with kids her own age.

Their guardians would do everything within their power to keep both her and her brothers’ privacy intact, since fame can be overbearing and malicious to anyone’s development. Being over-protected, those children never really got to experience the world as it is until later in life.

“Once I got introduced into the real world, I was shocked. It blew me away,” she said. “Not just because it was sexist, but misogynist and racist and cruel. It was scary as hell. And it still is really scary.”

And even though she works in the arts, appearing in several features as herself, she is still recognized solely as Michael Jackson’s child.
“All anyone wants to talk about is my father, and it makes me sad.”

Her sudden appearance on social media has caused major interest and she has a large following on her accounts. Of course, this surge in followers has attracted trolls as well. Back in June 2012, Paris made a guest appearance on the Oprah Winfrey series Next Chapter, where she said she was a victim of cyberbullying.

But as of recently, she has taken a healthier and dismissive stance towards online haters.
“You’re on their mind – how is that a bad thing?” she explained. “Doesn’t matter if they’re saying good or bad things about you. They’re thinking about you enough to write about you. You just can’t care.”
I would certainly like to see more of this interesting young lady doing her thing!
