On the afternoon of the 7th of January, we saw the 75th Golden Globe Awards that honored film and American television in 2017. The talk show host Seth Meyers hosted the ceremony for the first time, and fans saw a different dress code this year. Many stars decided to opt for a black dress code to show solidarity with victims of sexual assault in Hollywood. Among these, we saw our favorite team of stars from the sci-fi horror tv series Stranger Things. But guess who wasn’t there to complete the team on the red carpet appearance? The beautiful 13-year-old Millie Bobby Brown. Fans were wondering why she appeared solo only an hour after her co-stars walked the red carpet together. The reason is not that controversial after all.
Even though they didn’t win an award at the Golden Globes, they do hold a special place in their fans’ hearts. Where to start? Is it the incredible 80s nostalgia, the government conspiracy, or the talented stars that make this show a total winner?
One of the main people who make the show even more interesting it the talented Millie Bobby Brown.
Yet she was conspicuously absent from the red carpet walk with the rest of the Stranger Things cast. Instead, she opted for a solo walk in front of the cameras. The rest of the cast mates, including Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Finn Wolfhard, walked the carpet as a team. An hour later, Millie appeared alone.
Many fans had a hard time understanding why she decided to walk solo.
The official reason was not given, but you could easily take a clue from the Instagram story by Brown’s makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan.
The story allegedly showed Brown was not ready and was still in the preparation process 20 minutes before her co-stars appeared on the red carpet. According to Refinery 29, she probably didn’t make it on time.
Millie eventually reunited with her cast an hour later, but fans were not so happy about her absence. Many took to social media to hint an alleged disconnection between the group.
I don’t like that Millie Bobby Brown doesn’t do the carpet with the rest of the Stranger Things cast. It is an ensemble piece and going alone creates a perceived separation, She should be able to hang out with the other kids and have laughs with them. #wyldedish

Is it possible that she was not simply late?
We can only speculate! In the meantime, the show is not returning until 2019 on Netflix, according to star David Harbour.

He told Variety:
“I mean, one of the things that’s annoying for fans is that it takes us a long time to do them. Like, you probably won’t get [Season 3] until sometime in 2019. But also part of the thing is, like any good thing, they need time. And those guys work so hard. I mean, they just sit in their apartment and write for 12, 14 hours a day.”
